We realize sometimes situations arise and you can’t keep your furry family member. Whether it be relocation or illness, we want to help you find the best home possible. When you participate in our Owner Surrender Program, we advertise your dog on websites like Adopt-A-Pet, Petco, Petsmart, Best Friends and more. Any interest in your dog will go through our normal adoption process. In most owner surrender cases, we prefer your pet stay with you until a new home is found, however alternative arrangements can be made as deemed necessary.
If you've found a stray animal that you cannot hold onto, please complete the Release of Stray application and a SNARL Director will review and reach out if we can help. All stray animals taken in by SNARL will be held for 30 days prior to adopting out. Because our organization is not federally or state funded, we do ask that you make a donation of any size (if possible) towards the intake of the animal.
