A T-Shirt in honor of our incredible foster, volunteer, rescue advocate who left us far too soon.
There are very few people in the world who can have such a profound impact on so many other’s lives, Sheila was one of those people. On January 14th 2023 we received the devastating news that she was no longer with us.
Sheila dedicated her life to helping animals, with an involvement in animal welfare long before she came to Las Vegas’ rescue scene. To say she did a lot for us and the entire animal community is an understatement. Her background in zoology made her invaluable in helping animals beyond just cats and dogs, her home-cooked meals for dogs in boarding kept so many of them going, her dedication to events and the animals got soo many adopted, and she could always be relied on both in an emergency and if someone needed to get their hands dirty. Sheila really did it all, and her loss was felt so deeply both within our rescue and by everyone who knew her. Sheila inspired so many people to become more involved in animal rescue, and with her own massive efforts she must have been involved in the betterment of hundreds of animal’s lives. The world became a better place because of Sheila’s influence, and we hope to honor her memory and continue her legacy with every animal helped.
Sheila, you are still an inspiration to us all.
